"Megan Anderson not ready for Cyborg" - Cupcake

She too slow and she doesn't have thudding power.

I don't understand why she pulled out of the first fight. I'm starting to think Megan is legimately scared of Cyborg.

Outside of size she really offers nothing.

She is slow, poor footwork, no head movement, questionable ground game.

Her size - judging from her recent posts she is just begging USADA to bust her - will allow her to survive maybe 2rds.

She is slow and hittable and does not have the skills to challenge Chris. Holm, although naturally a bit smaller and actual skills and put on enough size and strength to enhance her skills and allow her to survive.

Megan fought my team mate back in 2014. That was her second pro fight, I think. She was extremely green back then, almost like she had just come out of 6 months training. She's a gorilla though, and obviously got the win.

If someone told me 3.5 years ago that she would be ready to fight Cyborg I would have laughed. I'm pretty sure she's only recently joined a real, world class camp.

Unless she has improved in absolute leaps and bounds, she is going to get steam rolled by Cyborg.
James Krause's gym isn't exactly world class mate. I think she'd benefit from training somewhere like king's. No idea why she chose her current gym.

Better than training at a local gym over here, but you're right, if she's on the way to fighting the P4P best female fighter on the planet, I'm not sure why she didn't go with ATT, AKA, Jacksons, Alliance or any other one of the top tier MMA gyms in the states.

I think Cyborg should go outside the UFC for her money at the moment while the challengers build. There's no point in trashing every prospect now.

WWE could be a better bet in 2018.

I thought it would go down better...

It's a classic quote, "I'll beat him so bad his children will be born bruised" he said it to Joe Frasier amongst many other things... I really didn't expect everyone to get all upset, but I forget that I'm older and people are more sensitive now. Also I guess it kinda sounded like she was gonna get a beating whilst pregnant, but I totally didn't mean that.

Last time I quote Ali, I'm telling you.

Don’t you apologize to these sissies

She was in Missouri for her Invicta debut and went to their gym to train. After her session she wanted to stay in Missouri and train there.

I have to agree with Tate that Cyborg is too much for Megan Anderson at this point. Even if Anderson where to get several more fights over the course of a year she would probably not be up to Cyborg but she ought to get that shot at some point without having to go on a three fight win streak to get that shot.

The UFC needs to bring in more featherweights and develop that division.

I have to agree that I do like the idea of Amanda Nunes and Cyborg throwing down. However, I would rather that happen after the UFC has 9 to 14 or so more featherweights. There are plenty of women not signed with Bellator to choose from. Not all of them are great, over even good by some standards, but more would put on okay, if sloppy fights. With some money and fights those fighters will improve.

There are some good prospects coming into MMA this year: Kayla Harrison is supposed to make her MMA debut next month, for example. (Two time Olympic gold medalist in Judo for those not familiar with her and she plans to fight at featherweight now, originally she was looking at lightweight several years ago.) Another is Danyelle Wolfe, she is an accomplished boxer and Olympian.

I'd probably rather try and grab Cindy Dandois from Rizin and throw her at Cyborg. As bad as Dandois' striking is she is dangerous on the ground. (And I want to see Anderson rematch with Dandois anyways.)

This is 2018. Everyone is triggered about everything all the time.

Don't act like holm is a small fighter, she boxed over 150 pounds

She's a massive cutter like everybody else

Megan, all 6feet of her, is quick and throws some decent rangy punches but her chin is always up in the air. Cyborg absolutely would have to storm Megan, because that jab range is too much for Cyborg. I'd expect to see a swarm approach from Cyborg again.
