As an aside from the fun posting, it is incredibly irresponsible that so many TV channels and news programs give a forum to the moronic rantings of anti-vaccers. Actually, it's beyond that, it's unethical.

This is part of a broader problem with television programming wherein increased concern is being given toward "fairness". There may be multiple opinions on some topics but they don't all warrant equal time and consideration.

That wasn't faux, I actually watched a couple of "authentic" and "unedited" reptilian vids (culminating in the video I did post) for some of the deleted posts. That's time I can't get back.


On the topic of measles, that's not the only disease that was effectively eliminated that's seeing a return. Importantly most opponents of vaccination programs are too young to have lived through periods where these preventable diseases were common. It is rare to find someone that's seventy that opposes a polio vaccination mandate but there are lots of morons younger than that who do.

Frankly these outrages are luxuries. Unfortunately it is likely the children of these morons that will suffer.

This is something I will admit I was totally oblivious to until Jack Savage brought it up some time ago in the War Room, that media seems to try and cover 'both sides' as if they were both equal, even if one side has absolutely no evidence or support, so that every story is a 'choice'. I don't watch TV anymore, but the few times I have been able to lately I have made sure to watch for this, and I was struck by how true it was, and I can only assume that it's FAR worse in the US than here in Canada.

Such temporal aspects extend to a lot of issues. My wife has done volunteer work for a variety of women's clinics and pro-choice organizations. At 36 she has often been one of the younger women involved. Many of the women involved in these organizations are involved because they were around pre-Roe v. Wade.

Per my research Mexico seriously believes in and enforces childhood vaccines.
They have more recent memories of what not vaccinating causes.

Pertussis has been making a comeback as well.

So if the child (not vaccinated) get a preventable disease and is disabled or so sick their life is in danger shouldn't the parents be charged with child endangerment or child abuse.

Though rare there can be side effects from vaccines, so in order to protect socity why should someone that refuses to vaccinate get a free ride, is their child more valuable then other people children.

How about the children that can not be vaccinated due to medical conditions are you going to make sure your un-vaccinated child never comes in contact with them.

So in conclusion if you don't vaccinate (with the required vaccines for school) you are ether a loon or a selfish prick or both.
