Put it this way - I always saw his standup as beautiful to behold, and he's a definite fighter in his mentality. But there is still so much more to be seen from him. Good chin? Ground game? When he fights a truly great striker? Once he starts going with the top guys, and a variety of them, we'll know more.

Great potential, and exciting as can be, though.

I love watching Conor fight especially after all that hype he built himself but I was falling for the "biggest thing in the UFC" stuff Dana was trying to push so hard...... Just like i said he is good striker but at this point lets see how he matches up against a elite grappler like Chad or Frankie or heck even Lamas.......

what i dont get is he is already beating top 10 calibre guys, how many guys are there really that could be better strikers or wrestlefack him?? a handful at best, still making him one of the best in the world.

Thus making him an elite fighter.

Maybe to not all the fans but the hardcore fans turn on a fighter in split second........He doesn't even need to lose to get blasted(As in Conor's case) If he din't say I have visions Gunnar will be the WW champ in 2015 then other non sense trash he talks would still have that "Fake aura" wouldn't have faded away so quick to some fans......

To be fair, 2015 isn't here or over yet. Not saying Gunnar will be champ, but it hasn't exactly been disproven.
