First off, I am a fan of Conor McGregor and his style of fighting. I just think that his movement is extremely overrated. I use to always hear him talk about the basic muay thai stance, other fighters basic movements, and other fighters predictability. If you watch the Nate fight He's standing right in front of him the whole fight. In the chad fight he's in his face the whole time the fights standing. I don't understand what differences in movement there is besides the stance he uses. In my opinion a guy that moves like Mighty Mouses has superior movement. He seems to be pretty stationary himself a lot, just pushing forward. He's a great fighter. I Just find it funny he does things it seems like he talks crap about. I also believe his stance leaves a big opening for takedowns and leg kicks. Do you guys see the same thing or am I just wrong?

When he choices to use his footwork, he looks very impressive. Brimage, Holloway, Aldo. But there are fights that for some reason he choice to just move forward, like Brandao, Mendes and Nate. And he gets hit when he is not using his footwork too much.

It's not overrated, he just doesn't use it much.

Yes I do see that now that i think about it. It's just weird that he doesn't use it more.

He got carried away with his own hype and forgot what took him to the top, after KOing Aldo he thinks everytime he connects with the left they are going down. Hopefully this brings out the best in him.

Exactly. And I'm pretty sure that Nate beat Conor with his own words.....Remember after the Aldo fight "Precision beats power, and timing beats speed". Conor complains that he didn't use his energy efficiently, and that's just a sad excuse.
