He only gets praised for his top notch boxing. But he was excellent kicker as well and i believe he still is. He had his opponents in trouble with high variety of kicks. He took out Nates legs, kicked crap out of Chads body, dropped Brandao with wheel kick and finished him seconds after that and KO’d Cerrone eith high kick. He was best striker in the UFC and became GOAT after he beat Alvarez. I hope we see him back inside octagon soon.

His leg kicks sucked, he always aimed for the knee. All his spinning stuff did help setup some shots from time to time, and the teeps against Mendes did him some good.

Shara and Umar have great kicks, Arman has very underrated kicks as well. I think more lighter weight fighters should try to establish stronger kicking games, especially if they lack power in their hands because it can be such a difference maker.

This guy's a prospect and not in the UFC, yet, but he has some of the most ferocious kicking I've seen in MMA.

BAN TS!!!!!!!!
you are just asking for punishment if you don't

Wonderboy?

Hot take, I was more impressed with prime RDA's kicks than Wonderboys. I feel like the speed and power on RDAs kicks were great and he was good at breaking down the legs and body with them. His kicks were simple, didn't do much off the lead leg and wasn't known for variation in technique but he used them more effectively than most.

Man, I realized there's not that many great kickers in the UFC anymore. MMA in general has had a shift in it's meta to be more boxing oriented this last decade. Beyond that, wrestlers have been largely and inorganically phased out by the UFC so kicking should be on the rise.

I always thought he looked like he wasted a lot of energy with his kicks. And considering he always loses from getting tired I don't think they were working that well.

It's probably Barboza. Douglas Lima never fought in the UFC but he also excelled at them.

He almost KO'd MVP the exact same way in the rematch. That would have been epic.

He does have elite dexterity, control and precision in his legs and kicks
