McGregor vs GSP at UFC 200

This is not the fight to make.

Wonder what the rest of the roster would make of that fight, their faces LMAO!

GSP by UD.

Conor is too small for 170. These guys are all walking around 200+ and cuts from 190ish. Lawler, Wonderboy, Hendircks, Condit, Rory, Woodley, GSP, etc. would all beat him.

Conor by telling GSP of his contact with alien life forms.

This will be the fight to make. If GSP doesn't make a comeback for this opportunity, consider him retired for good.

I had this first lol. People stealing my ideas... JK but I do think this is the fight to make.

Whatever match it will be made, most of the fighters who won't get it will bitch and moan, IMO.

GSP is probably the worst stylistic match-up for Conor.

At a catchweight it would be good, I think GSP's coach said he could make 155. Id say a fight at 160lbs or something would be better. Conor would need GSP to be seriously weight drained to have a chance of not being smothered by him for 5 rounds.

Dear lord.
This is not a fight to make.
GSP would run a wrestling clinic on McG.
McG better bringt his money because GSP need to be paid for that lesson.

I seriously doubt GSP is coming back. But if he does, he has to enter his name into the USADA testing pool of athletes a full 6 months before he can be cleared to fight. Exceptions can be made of course. The rules state that any fighter coming out of retirement must make themselves available for testing a full 6 months before their return.

His name might be in the pool, but up to this morning, he hasn't been tested.

(This is not a PED accusation against GSP. Just an explanation of what a retired fighter has to do to be reinstated.)

During his reign, who wasn't he the worst stylistic match-up against? (Maybe Big Rig?)
At the time they fought kos was one of the best wrestlers in mma. People don't seem to remember GSP beat the daylights out of him with the jab!!

The history is right, but if you are implying that GSP's emphasized jab game plan and Kos's wrestling skills means this was not a mismatch, you're sadly mistaken. GSP's skills are well-rounded, I would counter that you may have forgotten how damn good of a striker he is. Now, take Kos who is essentially a one-dimensional wrestler that often looked like a barroom brawler running around with his right cocked back, looking for his go-to the overhand right. The mismatch here was from a different angle, but it clearly still existed.

people are insane if they think Conor can't beat GSP.

It's the fight to make if you want to break records. But GSP would dominate the much smaller Conor.

I feel like if it makes sense for business that they have the ability to get that amount of time shortened and a GSP return could do just that.
