I'm not a nut hugger, not even a fan, just find these passive-aggressive threads annoying and I see a different one every day. What does it matter if he didn't deserve the FW title shot? We had already seen Aldo fight everybody else and McGregor was obviously skilled enough to be there. I didn't even know people were still playing up the whole "beating poirier shouldn't get you a title shot" angle, I assumed you were talking about LW.

Most of his PRIDE fights are pretty good with only a couple stinkers. His Shooto stuff isn't as good since he was more of a lay n prayer back then, however his Combat Wrestling matches from that same time are good. You should watch the Combat Wrestling stuff just to see his disgusting knee kimura if you haven't yet.
