1. Jose Aldo - Great overall MMA fighter, good BJJ, good wrestling, great muay thai
2. Frankie Edgar - great wrestler, high pressure pace fighter
3. Chad Mendes - great wrestler with KO power, not that great BJJ guy
4. Max Holloway - Good overall MMA fighter, with decent TDD and good stand up skills, volume puncher
5. Ricardo Lamas - solid wrestler, solid BJJ guy, also knows these capoeira flashy kicks
6. Cub Swanson - good stand up guy with KO power, bad TDD, BJJ - probably not that good
7. Charles Oliveira - best BJJ guy in the divsion, lanky, can sub you out of nowhere, good wrestler, but suspect chin
8. Dennis Bermudez - good wrestler, decent overall fighter, maybe suspect chin
9. Jeremy Stephens - good stand up guy with KO power, decent wrestler and fighter
10. Hacran Dias - wall'n'stall fighter, not that good in the stand up, good wrestling skills

Obvious question: who you think of this top10 can defeat Conor and why?

I dont think we will see Conor at 145 again...

Honestly, I think there are a lot of guys that could get the job done in the FW division. Conor leapfrogged all the wrestlers but Mendes. Aldo, Frankie, Mendes, Lamas, Oliveira, Lentz, Guida etc. All these guys have a chance.

These guys are either too small or/and their chins cant handle that left hand. And 2 of the top 3 guys already fell to it.
Even after losing to Diaz, i still think Conor takes out most of these guys without much problem.

I think you're under rating a lot of these guys. Swanson's bjj is probably not good? He's a black belt.
I'd say anyone that can take him down and has good bjj can give him problems but conor has a very good chance to KO any of them before that happens.

I'd say Frankie, Mendes (maybe less so after the recent KO's) and Aldo if he just looks to take it to the ground have a good chance of winning

No love for my dude T-City?

I think he would have a good chance at subbing Conor... give him another fight or so and he's ready by the end of the year imo.

Nothing against Cub, here, but just because he's a black belt doesn't mean he's displayed that level of ground game. He gave up an arm-triangle to Lamas a couple years ago, got absolutely tooled on the ground by Frankie before submitting to a crank with seconds left, and got beaten on the ground and submitted by blue belt Max Holloway.

Though I agree that Frankie, a refreshed Mendes, and a ground-oriented Aldo would all beat Conor.

This thread just makes me miss KZ. When can he come back again?

testosterone city isn't a clean fighter

If we're talking stylistic matchups, Connor's worse matchups at FW are Edgar, Lamas and Mendes, simply because they are good enough wrestlers to take him down and keep him there.

Frankie Edgar is more than a ``high paced, pressure fighter``, he`s an excellent boxer with terrific footwork.

i take guys from top 10. I believe Brandao was winning all rounds against him. Conor will KO him easily i think

Well his ground game is a threat for sure but he has no business striking with Conor and probably would get KOed fast. I've said it multiple times - Frankie is the worst matchup for him, relentless wrestling, great chin and cardio, BJJ black belt and used to fighting bigger guys. After he knocked out Mendes in the first he deserves it. Aldo also can give him a good fight if he comes in with a good gameplan, goes for takedowns and takes it to the later rounds.

I dont think we will see Conor at 145 again...

Well he may not like that weight cut but he is a champion at 145. Also a 155 pound fighter just tapped him out so fighting at FW seems to be t he best call to regain his momentum.

Elite cardio, wrestler, good standup, fast, hard to hit, great chin, never been finished, has a submission game, devastating ground &pound and more heart than anyone else in the game.

Frankie is a nightmare matchup and Mcg's team and The UFC will avoid him at all costs.

Frankie and full-camp Mendes.

Conor might just be that style mismatch for Aldo.
