If Nate were to beat CMG again, especially by a finish, would it be the end of CMG?

no

but it would be the end of threads like this

I think we've already seen the end of him. He's ducking 200. He will then vacate the FW belt. He is ducking Edgar, and cant make weight anyway. He may sign for the fight. But I don't think it'll ever take place.

So what's next ? Fighting a top 10 LW. We've already seen how that goes.

He has been exposed as being mentally weak. Exactly like Ronda. Bullies bully until they get taken down. Then they are never the same.

The blue print is out on how to beat this guy. Without alot of help from the promotion he's done. I do expect them to try to wring every cent out of his popularity as they can though. Minus the money from 200 that they already told him to shove up his ass.

Finally! A topic that hasn't been discussed

I don't see why it would be. McGregor would have 2 UFC defeats to his name. Diaz has 8 defeats in the UFC and it wasn't the end of him. McGregor would just drop back down to Featherweight most likely.

People who attribute professional mma success to only wins and loses are short sighted. People compete in professional mma to make money. Your value to a promoter, and how much you get paid, is based on your ability get people to watch you fight. Wins help that cause but isn't the only factor. For example, Kimbo Slice and Tito Ortiz are still getting paid more than most fighters on five fight win streaks not because of their excellent records but because they get people to watch. That is why the first lose didn't set back Mcgregors earning power, despite the dismay of haters. He maybe be even more powerful now than before the loss

In short, no, Conor will be just fine after a second loss to Nate. It will hurt but its quite likely he will still be one of, if not the biggest, draws in the UFC.

Nah it would just show that Nate is his kryptonite. There would still be mad interest in seeing him fight

No. BJ Penn's losses to GSP never affected his ability to draw or the hype every time he went back to his own weight. He's still sitting at the top of a division he's dominated, with wins over everyone in the top 5 except Edgar.
