Besides the Aldo fight he's never really KO'd guys. He's just really accurate and is really fast for how much power he throws. His counter striking was ridiculous though.

I'll never forget seeing his cage warriors fight vs Buchinger. Still holds up as one of the most devastating counter punches landed in the entire sport.

i think it is just deceiving when you see him on his own when his body fat is lower and his posture (ex. puffing out chest and invisible lat syndrome).

in reality he is a smaller guy probably walking around in the 170s

The whole ragging on Conor for the Nate loss is annoying. Nate is a high level bjj black belt that was tied with Maia for 2nd most UFC sub wins at the time of their fight.

Conor also was coming off a FW fight and stepped up to WW on 10 days notice. Which he didn't even cut weight and came in at 168lb. The 3x his size is a meme at this point but Nate looked a full weight class above Conor in their fight.

In hindsight it was a risky retarded fight for Conor to take. But the guy risked his LW title shot on a short notice fight to save the card. Nate's a talented bjj guy with good boxing, taller, longer, has insane cardio, and one of the best chins in the game.

Nate was underrated. He just came off a win over MJ where he absolutely tooled southpaw MJ on the feet.

Nate is a journeyman and a natural lightweight. Imo nate won the second fight too. I'm not saying Nate isn't a great fighter, I'm just saying if Conor was a life changing amazing badass that ruins people's careers with his awesome left hand, he would have beat Nate easily in spite of the 12 lb weight difference. Conor has done nothing since he beat Alvarez but be the Kardashian of MMA.
