Hair from the back and sides isn’t affected by the breakdown of DHT so it shouldn’t fall out because of that (in theory). If it’s a shitty transplant job and/or gets rejected by the body, that’s a different story

It's not a cure for baldness. They selectively take hair follicles from one area of your head and move them to another. Results vary based on how much of your existing hair they have to work with.

Apparently that does happen sometimes.
But, it's a pretty high success rate of that not happening overall...
Because they take follicles from the back/crown, thickest part where hair almost never thins...
So, it's like moving the unmovable hairs to a place where hairs move, feel me
