What trash talk? A lot of folk on here were giddy when the fight was announced and the 'epic trash talk' that was going to happen. For the first press conference he sat there and seemed to be taking instructions from Diaz sr and giving generic answers. The only thing that comes to mind was Diaz saying 'fuck you and your belt' and Conor talking about 'not caring about the belt and being more concerned with cheques'

The second one was a bit better, but it wasn't really the trash talk back and forth fest everyone expected. I thought there was some funny comments in it the 'touch butt' one and Conor telling Diaz to hush when taking about money as he's broke and threatening to take him off the card and put him back on 20/20k.

Overall, I don't really see Diaz as a trash talker. I think he's unintentionally funny a lot of the time because he looks so uptight and comes out with something out of the blue. Should be better banter this time round.

I wonder if at the press conference they'll have Aldo and Edgar up there as well. That could be interesting.

It's also a fact that Conor's highest drawing fight (by far) was aginst Nate. GSP's was against Nick.

The Diaz bros. have a unique style of selling, but they get the job done.

When UFC was on Spike TV Nate had two contracts, one with Zuffa and one with Spike TV (to headline UFN cards on Spike) He's no Conor but his value had always been under-rated by Zuffa and the fans.

The other guys dont talk at all, nate had some replies which is more than all of conors opponents thus far. Aldo cant speak english and Edgar is not good at talking.

Plenty of people care about Nate. Those PPV numbers weren't all Conor. The Diaz bros were popular long before Conor came around. Nate has been absolutely criminally underpaid until this point.

The Diaz bros were rather popular amongst sherdoggers and the likes, no doubt.

The likes of Conor and Ronda took mma to the next level, mainstream wise.

True, but Nate was already a needle mover and has been ridiculously underpaid for a long time. I don't like it when people act like Nate should be grateful to Conor, when he is responsible for a lot of those PPV buys and is just finally getting paid what he deserves.

They both fight LW. Nate wanted the rematch at LW.

Its Conor who must like fighting at 70, considering he's the one who wanted the rematch there.

Yeah, i think he did better than the others.

I was talking about the press conference for 200 - I imagine Edgar and Aldo will be on the dais along with Conor for the press conference and a lot of questions will centre around them 3.

He signed a front-loaded contract with low base pay and then tried to get the UFC to renegotiate or release him with him keeping the signing bonus immediately afterwards. And despite that and his inactivity, they gave him a huge bump both as base pay and PPV money for a fight he didn't deserve before that contract expired. And a rematch.

No one has gotten more fights they didn't deserve than the Diaz brothers and they still pretend like they are mistreated. It's astounding.
