Conor takes the rematch IMO. Floyd almost lost to worse of the paul youtubers.

the pauls are big guys. they made everyone forget that seize and age can be major factors. i still think logan should be embarrassed for not being able to knock down floyd or ko him

Mayweather was bullied by Logan. He wasn't expecting it.

Mayweather is so butthurt about how that fight went that he still hasn't paid Logan.
And Conor is tiny in comparison to Logan. Logan's reach was too much for the first few rds, that doesn't mean Conor will do any better than the first meeting against Mayweather. Anyhow, I don't give a crap about either of them anyway.

Mayweather ate an almost clean, flush uppercut from a younger, more dangerous, less comfortable in life McGregor and smiled at him.
This McGregor has nothing for him.

You could have just settled for the spicyness of saying "Floyd thinks Conor hits as hard as a youtuber"
Floyd thinks Conor hits as hard as Logan Paul.

It doesn't say that.

Guys like McGregor and guys who don't really hit hard, such as Youtubers. This is hardly a compliment to McGregor, but Mayweather is not categorizing him as a guy who doesn't hit hard.

It squarely places Conor in the category of "fights where he's not going to take any damage". And a reading of the full statement DOES say Conor is not a hard puncher.

Read with the context of that lead in it absolutely DOES put Conor in the category of people who don't hit hard. It is THAT category (soft punchers) which is then divided into two categories by the "and" being Conor McGregor (soft puncher, but not youtuber) and youtubers (soft punchers, famous for youtube).

When text is as short as a single paragraph, all the ideas within are considered for context. It's literally how we teach reading.

As long as you aren’t sitting at a bar stool or have your phone out, you could always break his legs. Make sure to check your wife’s dm’s afterwords though.

English isn't his first language clearly.

I don't know about you guys, but the way I read it he's comparing Conor to Youtubers in terms of guys he's not afraid to collide with.

But it's such an obscure sentence, that it comes off confusing actually. Would love someone to clarify what he meant.

No, the statement as given here explicitly says something different than your characterization. It does say McGregor is an opponent by whom Mayweather does not expect to be harmed, so there we agree. Mayweather clearly intended it to be an insult to McGregor. But Mayweather grammatically divides that type of opponent into two groups: 1) guys like Conor McGregor, and 2) guys who don't hit hard. It's quite possible that by "guys like Conor McGregor" Mayweather means MMA guys with big names who can't box for shit.

Mayweather very well might think that McGregor doesn't hit hard. But he definitely doesn't say that here.

Floyd thinks Conor hits as hard as Logan Paul.
Actually not that bad of a comparison given Paul is a bigger fighter and not terrible athlete. But oh well, people will either think Conor has pillow fists of a touch a death and deny anything in between.

He's saying Conor is in league with YouTubers as far as punching power. I don't see how people are missing this.

People are missing this because he didn't say anything of the sort. Perhaps you could argue that he meant to. However, grammatically, he makes an explicit separation between guys like McGregor and guys who don't hit hard, like Youtubers. What joins McGregor to people who don't hit hard is that Mayfield doesn't think any of them can give him trouble in a fight.

Again, it's clear Mayweather is insulting McGregor. Just not the way you think he is.

he's saying that conor is no real danger

you can interpret that as not hitting hard
or
not being able to hit floyd

he's probably not wrong either way, none of them have that elite boxing pop

Ok then what is he saying about McGregor?

Mo money, mo money, mo money...

For some ungodly reason, there is a sizable amount of folks who probably want to see this farce.
