Mayhem Vs SWAT

Got 100s guys already on pay just sitting around, might as well use em to subdue one guy.

The guy is an MMA fighter with a history of mental instability...those two things alone force the police to adopt a more cautious and secure approach.

Right, the guy who wouldn't show up for court for his multiple recent charges of beating up his spouse and urinating on her is for sure more of a man than these cops.

he did what now? i did not know about any of that. lol mayhem used to be funny to me, now it seems he's just a sad washed up ufc reject looking for attention

A swat team, ambulance, and chopper... 'cautious'. lol

I don't think he's going to make weight for the legal fight ahead. He looks a bit pudgy. I'm sure he'll lose all that in jail though.

was mayhem swinging a gun around? if not definite overkill by the police haha

Mayhem is a very fitting nickname for him all along

Can't believe how many people are defending these power hungry psychopathic cops. Clearly these cops are unqualified to handle these types of situations when it requires half of the police force and an extreme use of force and an extreme threat of violence to subdue one person. These people should be no where near guns at all, let alone wearing a badge.

I feel bad for him. He has serious mental problems. He was a very entertaining person. I'm sure he made lotsa $$ from his show, mental help must have been available for him.

If he really did all the stuff he is accused of he deserves prison and more.

Watch this. From the info the police give in this news video there is no justification of overreacting in such a manor. Mayhem is right! A complete & utter waste of public funds & resources! Not armed, didn't threaten anyone or even himself, arrest warrant was not for any crime committed with a weapon, he's an ex-MMA fighter not John Rambo with a cache of guns and knives waiting to ambush the police or the general public. "It's a $200,000 warrant we were trying to serve..." said the police officer...that says it all right there!

Police look for any opportunity to use their expensive toys.

I'm surprised Tru didn't arrange to get tazed or beat down with billy clubs for this video. Would have fit right in with his shtick.

For anyone criticizing the police response, I challenge you to work a job where if you don't approach every situation and every work day with absolute caution, and at times overkill, you may not make it home to tuck your kids in at night.

The last time less than 100 police officers died on duty in a calendar year was 1944. Officers die every week just doing their jobs, and if calling in the SWAT team for a barricaded and potentially dangerous fugitive will save even just one life a year, it's more than worth it every time.

Sending in the swat team for one guy with no gun and people say Mayhem is crazy! Welcome to the police state.

Overkill is overkill. The simple use of word "over" means too much fuckwad. Stop rationalizing this bullshit. Yes their job is dangerous and they should be given respect but that does not mean such actions and behaviors can be accepted.

First off police work is inherently dangerous and nobody makes anyone take that job. Its a choice. That being said there are many professions that are more dangerous that dont have the drama story behind them like being a cop and also dont have the constant controversy connected with said profession. Military for example comes to mind. Nothing against cops, but I would love to go one day without hearing some soap opera esque justification rant from People telling me how police are so victimized.

They did a Botched job and called there buddies in.Its as simple as that.Miller is twice the man these cops are. This miss use of swat shows how cowardice they are.

Calm down dear.

They sent a couple of beat cops to deliver a warrant, he ran in to his house and barricaded the door. Only then did they call for back up, he has a record of domestic violence and stalking, they took the same procedure they do with everyone else. But yes going by his gut he does seem twice the man.
