Ugh, I'm dreading that fight. It would suck to see Hendo lose but would be absolutely devastating to see Machida lose. But fucking A it's such a sick match up. Two all time greats going at it for a title shot, I can't wait.

I'm not quite sure I can describe how much I adore Hendo. Machida on the other hand, I was there when he beat Sokoudjou (Team Quest !!) and there when he beat Tito. So me and him are never going to get on. I can't HATE him though, he seems like a thoroughly nice bloke and he comes out to Korn. I should like him, but I can't. Like Wand. He always seems to fight opponents I like more.

My old MMA coach told a story about a time him and Dan almost fought at a party because Dan vultured the chick he was digging on and he posted up on Dan and they had to broken apart. That guy was notoriously shady though so I have no idea if that actually happened. Though he probably did get his girl vultured by him.

And I know what you mean with Machida. When I first realized just how righteous he was, it was right before his first fight with Shogun. Since then though, Machida has probably eclipsed Shogun on my patented respect-o-meter. My favorite active fighter right now probably.
