I finally started watching Silicon Valley (the first three episodes) and I gotta say I'm a bit underwhelmed so far. Does this show get better as time goes on?

Also don’t cheapen out here. This is one of those things you shouldn’t be budget shopping for. Consider the % of your life you will be spending on this mattress. And how much the quality of your waking life will be affected by how well you are sleeping on said mattress.

I wouldn't go with one of those new foam mattresses that come in a vacuum sealed bag.

More foam is a bad thing IMO. I want less foam. More cloth and springs.

Sealy is time-tested and they sell them for not much money at Costco.

It's pretty overwhelming the amount of options out there. I'm a bit weary about these foam mattresses. I currently have a spring with padding on top that we've had for 8 years and the springs kinda starting to wear out. I'm leaning towards a softer mattress now. I think what we got is a medium.

I'm afraid of going to a mattress store, try something out and liking it there, only to hate it once it's home and we've been sleeping on it for a few days.

I'm also not sure on how much to spend. The prices vary wildly. There's a ton on Amazon that only sell for under $500 that have very high ratings. But how good can a mattress be that sells for under $500. Also, they deliver it in a box... and you gotta let it expand for a day. That's kinda weird.

get a foam one, my wife and I have used ours for over a decade with no degradation, while our kids beds are ready to be tossed out......... my BIL has a $5000 mattress, total waste of money. I might have paid 350 for my king, get a waterproof cover, and you're good like forever. There's like zero degradation, no highs or lows anywhere.

The hybrid foam ones are good. You just gotta try it. The tech is there now. Even hotels are converting now. They last longer than spring.

I recently had to buy a mattress for my Mom I looked at a lot of brands & types of mattresses all at different price ranges but the Nectar is the one i ended up going with. For $800 the Queen size came with two very nice memory foam pillows, sheets, pillow covers, etc.It has won a ton of awards, and for the price i don't think that it can be beat. Most other mattresses that were similar cost 3-4x more.

Unfortunately my Mom just passed away recently so i decided i would use it since i need a new mattress myself and i will say that it's super comfortable. The best Mattress i've ever owned by far.

Too much for me, but was impressed yesterday with 2023 Jag Ftype R coupe
V8 444 hp & 3.5 seconds ( 0 to 60).

Would be a nice ride/toy if had the cheddar.

New ride (RR Evoque R-Dynamic HSE 300) delivered today, V6 & 296 horses: has some kick.
Is nifty lil suv, handles well.
Feels more TST handling/torque/acceleration for a compact suv on road, in comparison to what driving before.

Got my squat back up to 225 for ass to grass and not just parallel

Did 8 reps after 6 working sets of 185 ass to grass... had more in me but I didn't want to deplete the tank with hack squats, leg press, leg extensions and leg curls still looming. Seated Calf Raises would've been OK either way.
