Cool, but I wonder to what extent the existence of cash prizes in non-advanced divisions encourages sandbagging.
 
I live in las vegas and I have to work the night before and I would be in no place to compete. Damn!

Exactly what I was thinking. Horrible idea.

Plus I get so pissed about the whole weigh ins the day before.

You should have to wiegh in as you get on the mat when your match is called, with gi or your gear on (knee pads ect.). Give a =/- 3 or so lbs, so if the category is 159-169 and a guy with the steps on the mat and weighs 172 with the gi on he's good, 175 NO good.

Oh well . .:icon_neut
