I have to say, I’m kind of impressed that he was only 90 years old. It seems like he was an old man for over 40 years. Like if you had asked me how old I thought he was in say Dune, which came out 36 years ago, I probably would have guessed 65-70.

So true. When you think that he was the old priest in 1973...

Granted, they aged him up for the purposes of the movie but he was only in his 40s.

Anyway, this is sad news. Very talented actor with a hell of a career through the decades. RIP. Legend.

That movie came out 38 years ago. Yet another performance where you’d swear he was 70+ years old.

It's been playing almost everyday last week on hbo. Was able to rewatch it 2x last week. I agree that he was great in it. Very tortured(he truly cared for Cruise' character imo) but cold-blooded.
