Media Max Kellerman destroys Dana White's Nate-Khamzat argument

Some would. Wouldn’t matter. Would push Nate up.

terrrible style match up khamzag fast started takes Nate to like 4th rd to get going dana knows this Nate coming off loss match makes no sense other Dana trying give Nate loss cuz he want out contract dana n ufc is dirty Nate should fight Conner again khamzag no even beat any name but he still very danger lose lose for Nate

Kellerman is wrong is arguement is stupid and flawed khamzat is a high risk high reward fight for anyone

idk but the entire fiasco is generating a lot of attention.

just his name being thrown out there next to Chimaev's after the win like that, it's raised his value.

Max Kellerman is the same piece of shit that used to insult the sport of MMA every chance he got. He doesn’t know sh*t. He used to say that mma fighters were talentless, thugs, no skill, etc. Us as a community need to rid these scumbag johnny-come-lately’s. Some of us don’t forget.
I agree to an extent, Kellerman is a boxing guy, that's his love and he makes no bones about it. But the sport won't grow if you dismiss everybody that starts off against the sport. There have been fighters and promoters alike that thought the same thing Kellerman has said, including Dana White.

I mean Kellerman is a boxing guy so he’s gonna love padding resumes and not seeing fights that people want

The reward isn't much for anybody that's already established. A guy like nate or even nick beating this guy just gets turned into them knocking a hype train off the tracks, and let's see if they can beat somebody legit.

Nate is overrated in the grand scheme of things but he's still one of the bigger stars of the last decade. He's fought multiple former champs and challengers including the biggest star of the sport. Beating a top prospect doesn't help him as much as losing to khamzat would hurt him.

Best shoop ever.

Max Kellerman is legit. His shocked reaction to Usman saying he wants to box Canelo was priceless lol "YOU WANT TO BOX CANELO, ARE YOU ACTUALLY SAYING YOU ARE TRYING TO BOX CANELO??!!", then proceeds to ignore that bs and move on to other qs lmao

Max was a better rapper than anyone in mma too.

Max Kellerman for the win!

Nah he sucks!

Keep the boxing scumbags out.

Dana White????

When did he use to say this?
I seen videos of Max talking about how great Khabib is since 2015

This go years back. He only changed his tune when he realized mma isn’t going anywhere and when they started landing big network deals. You could tell it burned him up that he had to talk nice of mma. The guy is a loser. Knows shit about mma striking and groundfighting.

time stamp: 5:33

Dana White: ''I just had an interview the other day, where the kid was coming after me saying that I am throwing Nate Diaz to the wolves, if I have him fight Khamzat Chimaev. He wanted to fight Usman!! That's throwing you to the wolves!! Khamzat Chimaev has all these high expectations of what could possibly achieve right? Usman has achieved them. Nate wanted to fight Kamaru Usman, but you don't want to fight Khamzat Chimaev?''

Max Kellerman: ''Well I mean it's always a risk reward thing, right, like the reward you get not just monetarily, but in terms of credit for beating Usman, when Chimaev you are also taking a huge risk''

Then Dana continues to repeating the same sentence after his argument getting destroyed by Kellerman. :D

If MMA media had more people like Kellerman, then the things could have been a lot different in terms of arranging the fair fights, the guy knows how to handle Dana White's arguments.

Comparing Usman-Khamzat thing for Nate;

-That's low risk high reward thing with Usman,

-With Khamzat it's high risk and low reward,

Dana White pretends like he doesn't understand this simple thing.

Almost the same with people are ducking Islam, but at the same time wanting to fight Khabib, of course only after Khabib won the belt.

Nate was also ducking Khabib in the past,

But after Khabib won the belt, Nate was ok with fighting Khabib and was ok with getting smashed for 5 rounds by Khabib, but not before.

It's related to high risk low reward, of course ducking is ducking still, but when they become champion, everything becomes different, as Kellerman said it's low risk high reward once they get their belt.

Yep Max said what I've been thinking. It's not about the danger of the opponent. It's the upside and clout associated with fight a champ vs and up and commer, that's still work in progress.

Not if you have a name. This wold be a great fight for a new guy like Ian Garry. It would sky rocket his cred.
Nate is already a big name. Chim needs him more than visa versa.

Keep the boxing scumbags out.

Dana White????
Yes, Dana White has said it many times himself when he was first getting involved in mma, he thought it was a joke, and they couldn't hang with boxers. Once he realized a boxer would schooled in mma rules and this is where he'll make his money he changed his tune
