All this shit surrounding Conor is like icing on a cake. i hate icing i scrape that shit off and eat the mufukin triple chocolate cake like a G. while everyone is running around like chickens with their heads cut off. people who can see whats going on just sit back and pass the chips and bong hits. the Conor model was never a sustainable model. you should be letting go of his loss and bullshit retirement. he probably makes it to 200, or they were setting up Diaz vs Lawler. either way who gives a shit. the fight i wanted to see was Khabib vs Ferguson. which didn't go down and i was crushed i laid down on my hammock and looked up at the stars and drowned my pain in some beer well that and actual death in the family. that said just scrape off the icing and appreciate what is most likely going to happen that time waits for no one and i hope cooler heads prevail and they keep putting on great fights. like....

Max Holloway and Ricardo Lamas are set to throw down at UFC 199. and that to me is a real fight. both these guys are talented and to me Max Holloway is the future of his division so of course i would have to pick him to win but Ricardo Lamas ain't no slouch either. this a fight where we'll see if Max has what it takes to perform with a guy who is also improving fight after fight.Lamas is a decision fighter as of late but he has potential if he can put things together at this point i can see him putting up a great fight. then we have Max who has looked like a killer every time he comes out. he wins fights that he really shouldn't but pulls it off. granted that Charles Oliveira fight was disappointing the Jeremy Stephens fight was a tough challenge and showed he can stick to a gameplan execute it. Lamas won a decision against diego but to be honest i don't remember watching that fight and can't really say if he looked good or not but Diego is no pushover. whatever happens expect a real fight.

God rest the soul of your family member.

Equating a death in the family with not getting to see Ferg/Kabeeb. lol.

Get a fucking grip.

you get a grip sir. I can laugh and cry at the same time. that night i went to baptism, a birthday party and a wake. and yeah i was really looking forward to the Ferguson fight and i was bummed out. sometimes we need distractions to cope with our pain and loss. now who wins the fight?

thanks. was not expecting that but thanks I appreciate it.
Well yeah, I mean Ferguson and Khabib can obviously be redone, but your family member can't, so I feel for ya on that level by all means. I , too, was disappointed in not seeing that fight though.

mind blown.
Why? Lamas is very underrated and can maul Max on the mat. Holloway has the better stand up on paper, but in reality he looked awful against Jeremy Stephens who isn't even gate keeper status.

this is whatt you should have posted in the first place. yeah Lamas is underrated that's why this a real fight. not like the Khabib fight that just went down. i wouldn't say he looked awful against Stephens. one shot from Stephens and it's all over for Holloway. he Conditted him really. but he did land some good shots and never let Stephens implement his gameplan. he fought the perfect fight against him which doesn't always look pretty but that's why this fight is such a good fight. both guys are not afraid to throw, very good on the ground and can go the distance. i can see Max getting a sub though.

Cruz is getting ready for battle, he wasn't built for battle
he looks ready to switch kick a shin into Faber's face. don't just look at the foot work look at what he can pair up with it. and i see a very fast and precise switch kick to the face.

I've got Max.

Lamas is a dangerous guy. He's always being underestimated so I wouldn't be surprised if he won.
exactly my point. both guys are pretty much equal. this is why the fight is so interesting to me. one moment i feel Max will win then i think Lamas could win. this is a real fight. not some guy running through a punching bag propped against the cage. shiiiit. not to mention the Pettis vs Barboza fight which I'm also looking forward to. one moment I think Pettis wins then the other I think Barboza puts him away.

I commend anyone for reading this post past the icing thing. I already stopped trusting you at that point.
