Being a stay at home wife isn’t an accomplishment, there’s literally no barrier to entry. The more accomplished person should keep the majority of their assets, period. Anyways, I’m successful and get plenty of women, I just will never marry any because I’m not an idiot.

Her accomplishment is taking care of the kids and husband while the husband is working. Don’t down play stay at home moms.

The barrier to entry is making sure to not be a whore so a man will pick you to want to stay with and provide for.

I know this is hyperbole, but in all seriousness, I do commonly hear that "women only care about money" when men are trying to downplay the importance of looks. There is some truth but there were no girls on the planet with a Bill Gates poster in their room even when he was younger, and there's virtually none that would choose him over some famous stud actor even though they may "only" be a millionaire vs the richest man in the world in Gates. Heck younger women would choose a broke Chad surfer dude over Gates, it's only when they get older and more calculated that they would be drawn further to make the business deal of settling down with Gates.

Furthermore, even if they do engage in a relationship with him, the brutal reality is that there will not be anywhere near the lust and genuine sexual energy. Someone like Gates is not a moron and will feel this deep in his soul, therefore it's why you see some men like this choose to marry based on a more genuine relationship with an average looking partner, like he and Zuckerberg did with their wives.

So I think money is a bit overrated in this respect, HOWEVER status can be very powerful and even create lust for an uglier man. For example a famous rapper that has social proof in the women's circle would be far more desirable and even magically seen as better looking and more lusted after than would a guy with equal or more money that invented some obscure tech product used in oil refining or something.

Weird place for this convo, but good points nonetheless.

I'll also add that . . . . Ilia is basic. So he was attracted to (a) basic (bitch). Virtually ALL guys/men I know that whine, generally, about "women problems" are superficial themselves and only associate (i.e., their social circles) with shallow women. . . .so when you date/marry/have kids with an insecure, shallow, basic woman. . . . play stupid games win stupid prizes. It's not rocket science.
Relatedly, like you say, it's not all about money for looooooots of women. It's. . . it's almost like women aren't a monoculture. Crazy, right?

p.s. Ilia will be fine. Much sadder recently was the news of ol' Oleynik's wife (with 5 kids with the guy) leaving him once he retired and taking everything she could.

I don't champion stay-at-home-anybodies, but it's still more complex than you're making it out. There is a social (and beyond) agreement in a marriage/relationship where the stay-at-home is absolutely (lol unless they're just utterly useless as a human being, which happens) providing an essential and valuable resource, and they're also choosing to give up pursuing various other avenues in life.
I'm fine with the 50/50 split. If you're rich and have someone at home taking care of the house and kids and food etc., etc., and that's your deal, then you stick to the deal, even when things go sideways. ESPECIALLY if you're rich. Your life won't even be impacted that much. It's much worse for a poor(er) couple that has a stay-at-home.

Never said that it wasn’t more complex. As long as the husband is okay with whatever the woman provides staying at home the point is moot. But generally what I stated is the basis for most relationships where there is a stay at home partner.
