Max Holloway needs to retire

A lot of people will shoot it down because hes obviously still very capable of competing at elite level, and hes only 32. But then on the other hand he has 34 fights and 14 years of mileage now, has just had his chin cracked finally, wasnt able to get the belt off of Volk with multiple tries and now cant get it off a new guy in his 20s either. Add to that that hes already solidified himself as ATG years ago, and yeah, honestly I can see the case for retirement being a smart option tbh. If not right now then maybe one or two more fights and retirement in 2025.

Nah I think he has one more run at 55 in him. Let him bulk up properly this time.

yeah
max already was showing sings of mental illness bringing imaginary bike with him inside the octagon

maybe after a guy turns 32 we can just banish them to a senior circuit like golf does. problem solved

I don’t think it means he’s there yet. Some just want to see him stop before getting there.

From titleshot to retirement. You can't win on this forum. You're either the best or you should call in quits, unless you're a prospect who will never amount to anything in the game.... you guys keep pushing, regardless of who you lose to or how you lose.....

Max still beats the majority of FWs even today. Probably would pick him against anyone in the division that isn't Volk or Ilia.
I see what you're saying. But if Holloway decided to retire now I wouldn't complain. The guy has a lot of mileage.

He deserves a farewell fight at lw. Imo he will try a run at 155.

Seeing Max's chin get crumpled moments after those cheap ass oblique kicks was beyond satisfying.
Yeah.. I mean they're legal strikes but if he even was off just a little he could have fucked up Topurias's knee pretty good. Woulda probably made a certain someone happy seeing his technique being used too.
