He doesn't have the frame for lw. He has t-rex arms. He's going to have a massive reach disadvantage vs almost everyone at lw

so he'll be on the other side of things with the reach? good things all his opponents didnt quit and drop a weight class just because of that.

might as well put it on right then rush up a weight class when youd be a small guy

Just checked. Out of the 24 fights he has had at fw he only had the reach advantage vs 3 guys. So he has a small reach even for the featherweights. Dumbfuck

When you are a volume striker without much power it's kind of important. At lw he will have to fight guys with 5 to 6 inch reach advantages like Tony, Conor, Oliveira, Hooker etc. Believe it or not for Max's style it would be super disadvantageous. You clearly don't know much about fighting so your ignorance is excused.

Where the fuck does that myth come from that Max is somehow massive for his division lmao. He's not. He is tall. Tall ≠ Massive. Volkanovski is shorter than Max but significantly bigger.
