Max could not cope with Dustin's power at 155, Dustin was just walking him down no worries.

And Gaethje hits harder and his leg kicks will wreck him.

That would shorten Max‘s life for about 10 years. It’s like Justin fights a FW Tony. Fight goes the same way and will be a serious beating. Don’t wanna see that tbh….
 
The only way this makes sense is if Max stays at 155 so he can gain some muscle mass.
Max is in a fucked up spot at his own division, but Im not entirely sure this is the best decision.

Its questionable if Gaethje will be fighting Islam next, and the BMF is one of those fun-titles and not a #1 contender belt.

Max basically is a journeyman at 145, so having him fight Gaethje at 155 would be a great 'Just Bleed' fight for the 'Just Bleed' title.

Bro Dustin is one of the biggest LW’s on the roster everyone knows he struggles to get down to LW.

Max is durable as fuck. I think he survives a Gaethje fight, and maybe even wins…

Dustin was hurt. In one of his post fight interviews (maybe the presser) he did say that he weathered some adversity there and thought about quitting but didn’t.

it wasn’t as one sided as some ppl remember. Max had his moments but Dustin had the bigger ones…
