How can people root for a dumbass like Conor instead of being a fan of this guy?
They are pole opposites like day and night... or one 100% negative and the other 100% positive.

he climbed throught the rankings, without any help from the UFC.
Is as (or more) active than Conor.
Jumps in on the chance to fight Khabib
When he is forced not to take the fight, apologizes to his opponent and his fans and wishes him & his replacement a great fight...
When his #1 opponent lost, instead of celebrating, he posted a great message (to Frankie).

I was a fan of Max for his talent.
I disliked when he started talking trash (to Aldo). But once the fight was booked, he went back and gave great respect, including an undeserving rematch to Aldo.

I wanted Frankie to become the champion... but I am getting sold on Max's actions and words....

I like Conor more.

Conor whupped dat ass already. That's why I like him more.
 
Max is human, not many could turn Dana down when he asking for a favour and he’s got his cheque book out. Max probably doesn’t get jack shit now though.

What a sorry ass excuse. You’re really buying that? Why wasn’t anyone else’s weight cut stopped?? Probably because he had no legitimate chance of making weight to begin with. Lockhart fucked up. Let’s stop covering up for him.

LOL he was cutting weight. The AC stopped it because it was too aggressive (which obviously had to be since he had only 6 days to do it).
For you to blame them is ridiculou, not to say borderline retarded.
 
Yeah Max is awesome.

Really too bad we missed out on them fighting, I was actually 2nd most excited for that fight (first being Tony of course) and that it was a great save.
 
Really can't be mad at Max. He took a big fight on short notice and probably wasn't in the best condition to make the weight cut. Sucks, but I'm glad I didn't take off of work and host a party for this event as I had originally planned.

You're right. Max wanted to save this card and tried. Conor wanted to get it cancelled just so a new champ couldn't be crowned.
