The guy kicked Joe Scarola out on TV when he was coaching TUF, whom was his first black belt and an instructor at the academy. Ok, maybe it's just a one time mishap, right? Wrong. Then he kicks not only his own brother Nick out, but CO-OWNER of Serra Jiu Jitsu out of the gym, illegally, changes all of the locks, and just goes about his day, collecting 100% of the students training fees rather than giving Nick Serra his cut of the profit. Word is that there's a court case brewing, and the 2 are still battling. I hope Matt gets sued off his ass. Whether or not you like Matt or dislike Nick, or vice versa, that's so messed up to do that. Even saw posts on Matt having the cops arrest Nick as well.

Seriously, he's so unethical its not even funny. Sure lucked out with Weidman winning the title and keeping his gym still relevant. But geeze, he should man up, grow a pair of balls, and give his brother his percentage or a settlement. If not, he's a complete con artist. 2 black belts, and 2 best men at his wedding thrown out of the gym. CLASS ACT TERROR.
