Definitely agree about it being a bad choice to mock Nate for teaching kids. Serra has never been much to talk a lot of shit, he's old school. And he just seems like a good guy.

Like Chael, he was super involved when he coached TUF, you could tell he really cared about helping the younger fighters. I've always liked Matt.

again an American that doesnt understand humour..... the target of Conors joke wasnt that Nate teaches BJJ, or to slate the kids class etc. The target was Nate pretending to be gangsta whilst also still teaching kids BJJ. it was to show that Nate isnt the person he portrays, thats the joke.

Not sure I agree. Maybe, because of all the shit he talked, but Serra just said the reason it was admirable for Holly not to tap was because she was still trying to win. Conor knew he was beat before Nate even got the choke. He didn't quit because of the choke, he gave up the choke because he already quit.

It was a weak attempt at humor, but Conor wasn't trying to criticize Nate for training underprivileged kids. As if only some kind of loser would spend his time helping the less fortunate.

He was saying that Nate tries to portray himself as a cold-blooded gangsta - but he's really a decent, soft-hearted guy who trains underprivileged kids in his neighborhood.
