if islam can get a title shot from bobby green, gamrot should be able to get one from hooker. I'd say hooker and green about the same level of win, wouldn't you agree?

Yes, I agree they are the same level, but it's not the same situation.

Bobby was a short notice replacement for a top LW in Beniel who Islam was lined up to fight for a TS when the other top 5 fighters were not available or were all coming off loses to the current champ.

If Islam had gone down the ranks to fight someone outside the top 10, he wouldnt have gotten a TS.

It doesn't matter anyway, I already believe that Gamrot should get a TS next. I'm saying that in the eyes of the UFC beating Dan might not be enough.

I think they should just give it to gamrot now if Arman cant take the fight.

Because in a fight, someone's always gotta ranked someone either ranked below or above them.

They both have a string of finishes and hooker is probably a bigger name than gamrot at this point

I agree, but I dont know why people think Arman is not going to be available. We have a clear timeline, we know the length of the suspension, we know what he has to do to get it shortened, and we know that the UFC, Arman, and Islam want the fight.

Gamrot should campaign for a fight with Charles in the meantime.
 
I got Gamrot vía suspect split decision where he lands zero significant offense and attempts zero submissions.
 
Legitimately my first thought was "Why? Isn't Gamrot... winning?"

Forgot that Hooker was on a 2 fight win streak. I remembered that he beat Turner over a year ago now, but could have sworn he's fought and lost since. Guess I was wrong

Oh well. Better start prepping his IV PR team
 
Gamrot getting very underwhelming opponents given his position in the division. He should be in title contention, not wasting time with Dan hooker.

Oh well, at least he’s gonna continue to build his win streak

At least once Gamrot wins this fight Oliveira won't have a good excuse to avoid him. (Unless Oliveira books a fight before this one happens)

He does but there's nobody really available aside from Oliveira so he can't do much about it.

Arman also has that suspension. Charles would have made a lot of sense I thought that was rumored but guess not.

Arman can fight by the end of the October if he films that PSA the commission wants him to do, that's not going to effect any fight bookings the UFC wants to make.
 
I'd love to see Hooker get a big win here, but he gets fucked up.
