Manhoef vs. McRory #1 MW contender (I know they said Mel is getting a title shot but I strongly disagree w/ the choice, both had quick fights, but don't have a resume warranting a title shot, have them earn it thru each other)

Carvalho vs. Cooper

Ayala vs. Sosnovskiy

Yamauchi vs. Jenkins (proj. win of next fight)

Juarez vs. MVP (proj. win of next fight)

Cesar Neves vs. Wisely

Honeycutt vs. Scanlon

Bonilla-Bowman vs. Dizy

Rogers vs. Marshall

Middleweight is pretty dry for Bellator, may as well give Manhoef the shot and let Barn Cat face someone else for a future shot.

I don't think they will do Goiti/Bubba seems too soon considering Pitbull needs to face Weichel and probably Curran/Straus again at some point. That's a contender fight. I'd say move them one step up and then let them fight for a title shot.

The Marshall/Rogers idea isn't bad at all, start a show with that would be a smart idea.

Not into alot of those fights.

I'm thinking

Ayala/Kongo or someone like Ivanov
Melvin title shot
Goiti/Guerreiro
Neves/Nunes
Honeycutt/Amoussou
Marshall/Rogers I like that one

Those are too big of step ups in a lot of cases.

Neves vs. Nunes? He's 20 and just fought Poppies for God's sake. Nunes is like a gatekeeper.

Honeycutt vs. Amoussou? Amoussou fought for a title not too long ago and Honeycutt has 5 fights, just entered Bellator, and faced a journeyman lw.

They should be moved along slower.

I'd like to see Yamauchi against more of a wrestler. And let's face it, the average stateside fans don't want to see many Brazilian vs. Brazilian match-ups, whether you or I care or not.

Not down with most of those ideas for the good of Bellator.

You just said Nunes is a gatekeeper so why shouldnt a guy who is 30-0 fight them?

I dont think Neves needs anymore warm up fights.

It's a contender fight, but not #1 contender. I think of it as a #2 contender. That puts them on a similar timeline as the champion. The winner of Bubba/Goiti maybe could fight Paddy Mike for next shot after Straus. Unless he fights Curran while Pitbull is busy with Weichel. In which case they could fight Guerreiro for it, or Khas if he somehow winds up back in the mix.

A title/#1 contender gatekeeper.

Neves is 30-0, but of course a lot is made about how he's accumulated that record. He can now take some time to add some quality to it and make it 33 or 34 undefeated before a shot. He should be facing some borderline tourney-level guy, or #7/8 seed in a hypothetical tourney. Then get 2 or 3 more wins and he's in there for a title shot as if he were in a real tourney.

How about Bubba/Neves then? Goiti is above Bubba and should fight FG cause that would produce a contender who is close to a title shot.

Or Caldwell/neves. But then thats killing a prospect off.

Nunes isnt a title gatekeeper, hes a gatekeeper to the mid level cause thats what he is. midlevel FW.

are you joking with those? youre throwing prospects in with the wolves

ok so the only real obvious fight I got from this was

Jesse Juarez vs Chris Honeycutt. That's the no brainer.
others probably Carvalho vs McCrory or Cramer but they will probably fight each other.

Ayala vs Kongo

JBB vs some local guy but I like the dizy fight as well

Julio cesar neves vs marlon sandro or matt bessette

Goiti Yamauchi vs bubba Jenkins regardless of his next fight. Or Scott Cleve

Rogers vs Cooper just cause I wanna see that fight

Marshall vs Filkins

Goiti is on the verge of the top of the div, Neves has 30 fights and Nunes aint that great and Honeycutt will beat Karl.

overrating the hell of out some of these name guys.

Paul Bradley would also be suitable for Honeycutt if Juarez won't take that fight

How did the Jyarez/Keslar fight go?

And I don't see how Jenkins can beat Goiti. Not that the fight shouldn't happen, but Goiti taps him if it touches the ground, imo.

Juarez outstruck Keslar the whole fight but it was almost souly contested on the ground. First round Juarez got keslar down controlled him, second round keslar got him down and controlled him. 3rd round was back and forth scrambles on the ground and Juarez had the dominate position to end the fight so he got the decision. And yeah I'm not confindent bubba gets past Meller. Everyone's sleeping on him for some reason. Thiago is gonna surprise a lot of people.

Doug Marshall vs. Brian Rogers
Rafael Carvalho vs. Tamdan McCrory
Bobby Lashley vs. Javy Ayala
Raphael Butler vs. Josh Diekmann
Pat Curran vs. Goiti Yamauchi
Julio Cesar Neves vs. John Alessio (take their time with Neves is what i'm implying)
Chris Honeycutt vs. Herman Terrado
Jesse Juarez vs. Karl Amoussou

Melvin Manhoef vs. Shlemenko/Hasley Winner
Doug Marshall vs. Tamdan McCrory
Rafael Carvalho vs. Ben Reiter
Brian Rogers vs. Jason Butcher
Jay Ayala vs. Cheick Kongo
Raphael Butler vs. Lavar Johnson
Goiti Yamauchi vs. Scott Cleve
Martin Stapleton vs. Diego Nunes
Chris Honeycutt vs. Dante Rivera
Julio Cesar vs. Eric Wisely
Poppies Martinez vs. Darrion Caldwell
Jesse Juarez vs. Paul Daley
Ron Keslar vs. Herman Terrado

Would like to see Neves vs. Cliff Wright Jr.

Cliff doesn't have the best record but he's very legit, gave Larue Burley all he could handle, like the idea of Neves vs. Eric Wisely too.

Would like to see Melvin get either a title shot or vs. Tamdan.
