I think its time to pair both these guys up. Both are young, and up and coming.

I was extremely impressed by Ortega's KO of Guida, and Choi's KO over Sammy (I forget his name?)

Who would win?

Would watch. Maybe after his fight with Tavares scheduled for July 8th

The Korean guy would likely win. His stand up is better. And he's faster. And might be able to stuff Ortega's tds as well. Admittedly I've only seen 2 or so fights from each guys, but I favor the Korean to win by decision (as Ortega's jaw is too strong).

DHC vs Swanson please, if both victorious.

Ortega vs Bermudez/Oliveira/Stephens/Pettis or Lamas

I'd go with Choi. If Guida can hang with Ortega striking and Brandao was getting the better of him then Choi would absolutely bust him up. Ortegas wrestling hasn't really proved to be much either so even if Choi's wrestling and ground game prove to not be the best I don't think Ortegas gonna be the one to test the wrestling department at least.

Not a bad scenario as both guys are hot prospects and the UFC will likely want to keep them on separate paths towards an eventual title shot.

But Swanson is probably too big of a step up for Choi. Darren Elkins (should he win his next one) might be a more reasonable test to see how he does against a wrestler.

For Ortega, a fight with Oliveira would be wicked. The BJJ might cancel out and it becomes a standup war. Stephens would also be a good matchup - big step up, but good matchup.

Eventually though, Ortega and Choi should fight. It'd kind of be the 145 version of the Garbrandt vs. Almeida fight to determine the next real hot up-and-coming featherweight prospect (outside of Holloway, who is younger than both of them)

there are also Yair, Bektic, Amirkhani, Allen - guys with streaks which are legit prospects at the same time

After Choi wins convincingly against Tavares, yes, make Ortega vs Choi. That'll be fireworks...

Ortega loses imo, then when KZ returns, make KZ vs Ortega...

Choi wins until Ortega stops him. Just T-City things.

Zombie vs Guida :P Caceres would have been good too but he is scheduled already

Fuck. I mean, yes I love the matchup. BUT, I don't want either guy to take a loss yet. I always get bashed when I don't want to see up and comers fight eachother early on but I really do prefer promising prospects see separate paths to the title. Hate on it if you want, lol.

not all prospect vs prospects fights are fights best for biz. i think they should be built up separately
