mat space nyc?

    What places are there were you can rent mat space to train in nyc?

    Hmm I think theres a thread somewhere where someone says that in some Fishmarket there is space.

    NYC parks and recreation centers also have FREE wrestling rooms to use. One in each borough I think. Just check the Dept of parks and rec website. I am sure you will find them there. I know folks who have been to the one in Brooklyn and say it is very good.

    by Fishmarket he means, I think its called, Hamilton Fish Recreation. its on pitt st. which is basically Ave. C in the LES just below Houston st. its open tuestday and thursday from 7-9. there are wrestlers and no gi bjj going on.

    best part is...its free. which is good for my very broke ass
