I can't provide full notes and timestamp because I don't speak Spanish hahah. Maybe one day.

“That’s called blah, blah, blah,” Masvidal told MMA Junkie in Spanish. “The guy is literally the champion right now. If he told Dana White and the UFC he wanted to fight me, the UFC makes it happen like that. Why? Because I’m the one that sells the most pay-per-views in that entire division by like four, five times. The numbers are there, proven.

“If he wants the fight, the fight is there for him, but he doesn’t want the fight. But what he does want, it’s entertain the idea that he wants the fight. He says this, he says that, but man, if you want the fight, you can make it happen. You’re the champion, and you feel hurt – and he obviously is, he’s still talking about me – then make the fight happen. If I affected you so much as a man that you can’t live your life without thinking about me every day, then make the fight.”

Masvidal still lobying title shot without getting a win first. I understand he has to do what's best for his career, but if he ever get title shot again without winning first, I will quit UFC. Nah I'm joking....

Maybe Jorge didn't affect Leon as much as he thinks he did. Especially considering Leon is the champ and Jorge is on a 3 fight losing streak, possibly facing jail time.

Oh fuck off Jorge... go win a fight. You had your chances at the belt and you came up way short.

On Leon's side though, I wouldn't blame him one bit for calling for the fight. For all the crap he went through to finally get the belt, he probably wants to maximize his earnings while he has it. Especially since Kamaru passed him up to fight Jorge a second time.

Conor destroyed this bum the worst way possible by ignoring him, if Edwards does the same it will drive Masvidal crazy and he will keep throwing tantrums and looking like a joke.
LOL. I was surprised Leon didn't agree to fight him and chose to fight Usman again. Masvidal is probably one of the easiest money fight for Leon.

His so desperate to fight Leon now it is kind of sad.

Jorge doesn’t deserve a title shot and I say that as someone who liked watching him fight throughout his career - way back since the backyard fighting days.

He’s a fighter to the core but you can’t cherry pick title shots. GTFOH

Have Conor vs Jorge for a mega PPV fight, they’re both declining anyway. Then the winner fights for the title. The title shot would be legitimately earned in the eyes of casuals.

Jorge has gone from relatively average fighter with no real world fame, to a marketable title contender with a ton of casual support back to an insufferable below average whiny fighter in a span of 4 years. The high's and low are so drastic.

Losing the fights is one thing but personality has been hard to digest recently.

His whole claim as the biggest draw comes from 2 title fights, one being the first PPV on Fight Island during Covid times, of course that was going to sell huge numbers, then got a rematch where he got smoked, did that sold that much? Then he got another main event against Colby, if anyone sells a fight its him, and i doubt that fight did that well on PPV, then again, he lost again, why does he thinks he is this 170lbs Conor Mcgregor draw? He isnt and never was, it was the situation, no one care for him now, at least casuals might still care for Conor, but not for the never was that hit lightning in a bottle with a 3 fights win streak followed by 3 fight losing streak...
