Masvidal ducking Usman is not an opinion, but a crystal clear fact

Why should he duck Usman? I don't think Mas gets bothered to lose via layNpray.

Actually i think Mas' BJJ is underrated and he has a good chance to sub Usman

Lmfao you actually think he'll be able to "defend" the "BMF belt" over and over again? You think people are gonna pay for BMF fights between Journeyman over and over again? Lmfaooo sit the fuck down dude

So you think he wont get PPV ppints for a Diaz rematch or that it wont sell more than an Usman fight?

You are delusional and mas as fuck that I am exposing your stupidity.

You're failing to understand my point.
Diaz fight = $$$
Usman fight = $$
Every fight after Diaz fight = $$
Every fight after Usman fight (if he wins the TS) = $$$

Do you get it?
Keep in mind, there is no more BMF after the Diaz rematch, that's it, no one gives a fuck about it.

The title fight will not be there wtf are you talking about. If he fights Nate and Colby ends up beating someone like Woodley in the mean time then it's Colby getting a TS. You for some reason think he can just raise his hand and get a title shot, no, this is it.

That could happen, it could also not happen. There’s a good chance he will still fight for the belt after he rematches Diaz.

As of right now the biggest money fight is Diaz. Its obvious thats what he is going to take.

He's essentially taking 100k more for one fight and risking never getting a big pay day again.

You'll see, if he fights Nate, he's never getting a TS or money fight again.
Conor will be occupied with Khabib and Colby and Woodley will be back to their title shots and Masvidal will be back to opening main cards with the likes of WB. .

15 Minutes

so what happenes after the fight gets announced? you gonna apologize and say it was crystal clear they were waiting for covid to slow down?

LMAO you sure seem to have it all figured out buddy.

Conor and Khabib, yeah right.

and other guys (Colby, Woodley, Conor etc) could end up getting title shots soon as well.
1) Colby already got his title-shot. Got his jaw broken, and lost. Nice try Colby, but you fell short.
2) Woodley will never be given another title-shot by UFC cos they just don't like him in the slightest. Maybe that's unfair but it's reality.
3) Conor might be gifted yet another title-shot but all he's done at 170 recently is shoulder-bump a non-resisting ageing Cowboy who decided to stand there, get hit, and fell-down at the earliest opportunity. Conor would be utterly embarrassed by Usman.

Colby is not jumping Jorge in line for a title shot in any division, regardless of who he beats. Don't be ridiculous.

Worst case scenario; the UFC hesitates to throw Usman at Jorge because they want to protect him for future PPVs. He absolutely gets the shot over anyone in the division any time he wants. Notice how almost immediately after Conor brushed him off post-Cowboy melting the fight with Usman was announced.

Your big point is that he wouldn't get much more, but I highly doubt an Usman fights gets anywhere numbers close, and both him and Nate got ppv points for that one. Even as a champion it just isn't worth more than a Diaz or McGregor. Business wise it's way a better decision if he can get a fight with McGregor or Diaz even, he'd take either of em out then just move on to the title, the odds are just too favourable to not take one of those first. Also he's the A side, the champion begs for him not the other way around.

I agree with TS.
But I am not against what he does.
I want to see Mas against exciting fighters, not leg humpers.

Idiots in this thread acting like TS is making shit up and saying we don't know when we actually do. You guys just didn't follow the news.

By now it is 100% evident that No Mas vidal ducked Usman.

Yep. For all the "it's prize fighting hurrdurr" answers in this thread, one thing isn't being considered.

Becoming UFC champion comes with more earnings potential than a one-off fight with Nate Diaz. Problem is, that would require winning. I don't think Masvidal believes he can beat Usman and I agree with him. I don't think he can either. It's pretty clear that Mas is cherry picking fights to keep the gravy train rolling for as long as possible.

Not saying I blame him, but it's pretty clear that he doesn't believe he can beat Usman.

Masdival wants more $$$ to fight Usman because he needs it to fund his future lost earnings from his hype-train derailment that a dominant win by Usman will bring.

He doesn't need that extra incentive to fight Nate.

If he's demanding too much from UFC to fight Usman, essentially it is ducking under the guise of wanting "fair pay"

UFC also knows an Usman matchup will reduce Masdival's draw power after his brutal loss, so for the same reason they wont want to pay him an extraordinary amount to fight Usman either.

Ok so why is calling out Nate Diaz for a rematch instead of Usman ? Jorge wants no part of Kamaru because he knows what would happen once the fight is over. It's clear as day bute delusional sherdoggers doesn't want to see what's in front of them.

Because Usman can totally 50-45 Jorge and that would kill his hype. But i think TS wanted to make the impression Jorge is afraid of Usman.
Afraid of getting hugged to a decision?

I am with you. Jorge wants to make bank and get paid to face a GSP Style Fighter (no disrespect GSP is GOAT) like Usman.

Diaz is a more winnable fight and the money is at least equal to a fight with Usman.

Why would he when Diaz makes him more money?

Give him 1 million flat +ppv points and he will fight them.

Otherwise he can fight Diaz and make 500K + 950K ppv points like he did last time.
Some fighters care about being #1
