For those of you that want to bring up money and how he's just trying to get paid more, let's refute that real quick...

1. He recently called out Diaz for the rematch, which tells me that he's down to fight Diaz next instead of Usman.
2. Either fight gets him a payday of 500k. If you think he gets a bit more for the Diaz fight, it wouldn't be by much.
3. A win over Kamaru gets him not only the payday, but also PPV points if he wins, which ultimately means more money for Mas.
4. Mas has said how ever since childhood his dream was to get that belt which tells him that he's the best in the world.

In conclusion, that must mean if he beats Usman then he gets everything he wants. Unless he doesn't think that he can beat him...

I'm looking at this objectively and logic tells me that the man is now, officially, the first contender in UFC history to duck the Champion.

He's pushing 40 dude, his 15 minutes of fame will not last and other guys (Colby, Woodley, Conor etc) could end up getting title shots soon as well.
