Masvidal could definitely beat Leon

Masvidal himself said he's past it now and he has a bunch of issues with his hands.
 
Masvidal could certainly beat him at a contest to see who can steal the most catalytic converters but other than that, no. Masvidal is a journeyman and he’s also almost 40 on a 4 fight skid. He’s way past his prime and I’m sick of hearing of him tbh

At this point, Masvidal would get wrecked by any featherweight in the top 10. I don't mind watching him get the shit kicked out of him again though. I'll pay top dollar!
 
36 year old Masvidal would have a shot.
Considering Leon's average chin and low output, he would have a good ko chance it would definately be a split decision.
At 39 his puncher's chance is very low
 
Maybe 5 years ago but even then he would still be a pretty hefty underdog against current Leon...now he gets touched up from the outside. He looked way to gun shy against burns and Leon would feast on that
 
That grudge match would be so funny, finally. We need this fight. Give Masvidal the easiest top 15 opponent possible then Mas vs Leon. That press conference and eating crow. And a good match up on paper too.

Would’ve made way more sense as title eliminator after Mas sparked Askren and Leon beat RDA. That plus Conor vs Nate 3 would’ve been huge PPV over Colin fighting old Cowboy lol
 
Masvidal fought the class of the division his last 4 fights and was 0-4. Arguably didn't win a single round out of 15. There is no reason to think a fight with Edwards would go differently. There was a time in 2019 or 2020 where there was momentum for that with the backstage brawl but in hindsight there shouldn't have been.

Difficult, too much partying, eating junk food and playing video games. Also he started early and is a striker.
Intersection of body x experience, probably around 30.
So when he beat Healy, Cruishank, Krause, got robbed against Iaquinta and got a split against a still game Benson.
He had 2 more good runs after that, the latest going for knockouts.

He always was drained at 155, not being disciplined with the diet enough, lacking cardio there.
And a little small at 170, not being fully ripped while lacking 3-5 pounds of good mass.

Summary : Masvidal was never that good.
 
Sorry to say this. Masvidal would get humped and then pieced up for 5rds straight.

Even in Masvidal prime it would be an ordeal for him because of the wrestling aspect that Leon brings to the table.
 
I mean he looked like a man who just dont got it anymore against Burns. I dont think that kinda thing comes back.
