I'm not sure that either of these is necessarily racist.

Muslim men may be targeting white girls because they are dressed in a way that they believe to be inappropriate. Laughable as that may be, it's not necessarily racist. Race is only correlated to wearing Western clothing.

White people targeting people based on their appearance (stereotyping) is closer to being racist, it may not qualify under the traditional definition which includes superiority. This is similar to my analogy of an APB out on a Chinese man. It's not necessarily racist to avoid Chinese people. It is definitely ignorant, but these attacks don't necessarily have to carry racist connotations.

The problem with vigilante justice is that it can punish the innocent. If these "migrant/refugee-looking" people were targeted based on that characteristic, I feel the attack is racially motivated vengeance, as they didn't prove these guys were guilty, only that they looked the part.

Really though, to be honest, I feel like all of this is parsing and don't care to continue to parse.

White people are so super duper advantaged that they are not allowed to defend themselves because things need to be more equal derp derp.

It's more complicated than that. I sympathize with the native populations who have been thrown under the bus by their own leaders. I also sympathize with innocent people who may be citizens, migrants, or refugees who are inevitably attacked by the natives (a problem that will only continue to grow) even though they may have done nothing wrong. I don't care for the actual perpetrators catching a massive ass beating. Someone needs to take out the trash. But innocent people are going to get caught in the crossfire, something I don't like seeing because innocent people shouldn't have to suffer because of the politically correct, uber leftist whities in positions of power.

It would be pretty hard to tell if they were white while wearing burkas, I would guess they would attack the "inappropriately dressed" ones. But based upon the realities of the middle east, any woman would do.
