martial arts blog?

I am starting a martial arts blog with a friend. we plan on training in different gyms in Europe and write about our experience. I would like to know if it is against the rules to dedicate a thread to it (I've read them in http://forums.sherdog.com/threads/sherdog-user-rules-faq-and-contact-information.219356/ and didn't find anything, but I want to be sure), and if it is allowed, which subforum is the best one for it.

Advertising isn't allowed by default, but blogs seem to be more of a grey area, handled on a case by case basis. I would ask an Admin for permission on this one.

Probably either Standup Technique or Grappling Technique, depending on what area you're focusing on more as you travel.
