Marlon Moraes the perfect fighter Bantamweight??

Marlon Moraes is another WSOF star(Justin Gathje) that is going a bit under the radar. Recently I was researching his career while making a highlight mix and I came to the conclusion we might have ourselves another champion. His losses were early in his career and fundamentally he is the closest thing a coach would call a perfect fighter. He's currently ranked 5th in the bantamweight division which means there's only super bantamweight mma matches for him. Cruz, Garbrandt and Assuncao who he lost too despite a close split decision loss. He doesn't have a fight signed yet and I was wondering who he should get next, I'd like to see him against Rivera, Cruz, Garbrandt or even Caraway... He's so technically sound and well groomed its amazing too watch...

The Assuncao fight was disappointing, but he really showed in the Dodson and Aljo fights that he's legit. So fun to watch fight too.

Magic Marlon blessed baby, future title contender right there, he's one win away, would love to see him fight Garbradnt. If Garbrandt doesn't learn how to stop looping hooks, a counter striker like Moraes might knock him out. He likes to throw combinations of hooks, and Moraes is a good counter striker from what I've seen.

I like him but I wouldn't say he barely receives damage, IIRC he got rocked/dropped by both Assuncao and Dodson.

Yeah i don’t get why the “manlets” don’t get love, when they’re all super talented. At least the top end.

Those 5 you mentioned, Assuncao, all top level guys. Linekar can still KO most guys if he lands, guys like Dodson still there, guys like Munhoz and Font making their presence known. Lots of talent in that division. Very competitive fights all around I think.

I know people hate on 125, but I think there’s some real solid fighters there too. DJ is just so much better he makes them all look like amateurs.

Even thought I've seen him in the UFC against 3 top ten guys I still have my doubts. I didn't think that Dodson win was legit and he has come out himself saying that life ending knee against Sterling was kind of a fluke. I really like him vs. Jimmy Rivera next. The winner of that is knocking on the door for a title shot and may even be next up as Cruz and Cody have kind of laid back and lost momentum.
