Hunt is more skilled but 2016 Hunt was obviously a past prime Hunt. I could see Hunt using his lack of height to avoid Francis’ hooks, but Hunt would be taking huge risks if he exchanged early as Ngannou has an 11 inch reach advantage and does his best work on the outside when countering. If Hunt had something like a 78 inch reach I would pick him. I’d probably pick Ngannou in this one.

the heavyweight division was stronger back then for obvious reasons that i won't state. today, with usada, let's just say that ngannou is safe. prime mark hunt would obliterate that kid.

I think we’d have seen the same thing we saw when he fought Lewis 2018: Francis would be too worried/respectful of Hunt’s power and piss away the whole fight. Hunto by decision.

I'm betting my money on Hunt. If Tuivasa can take shots from Black Beast, that arguably hits just as Hard as Francis, there's no reason why Hunto couldn't do the same and maybe even KO Frank.
