Hunt should be careful, Frank could smash his head like a grape if they ever met.

Infact I found the pic. He was standing next to Josh BArnett (thought it was Mir) :

I don't understand how suing someone in another country works. Can't he just say no? Im assuming he doesn't have much assets in America...
He had a bizarre transformation of character, up until the Brock fight he was rather humble & quiet, he did start talking trash once he was in the UFC but I believe he was basically coerced by the UFC in doing so, in Pride he was very different. Ever since Brock the guy has just lost it, I don't know what it is, I understand the frustration having to continually fight people cheating but he was looked after financially compared to other heavyweights and he was granted very good opportunities, he should have just swallowed it but this path he is going down is going to send him broke, like he has been once before. Wouldn't surprise me if some form of CTE or brain damage is at play, he doesn't sound terribly brain damaged but you never know.
No. You want to merge this shit, or should iDid we really need another thread solely to dump on Hunt?
UFC allowed Brock Lesnar to fight after he tested positive for steroids. I hope Hunt wins this losing battle against these scumbags.
No not true
If that was Hunt would be winning but he isnt. Actually read the case he has nothing
I believe he was around 17 or so.that is a picture of a Sherbro. He is very very big.
He was originally pictured standing next to Frank Mir and he made Frank Mir look relatively small.
No. You want to merge this shit, or should i
Sherbro name was "SCE" and he was at that time (10yrs ago) 6'5" and 262lbs.I believe he was around 17 or so.
he always sounds like he's brain damaged or at least talking out of his ass. Follow him on IG and see the kind of stuff he says and posts. I saw him post something about "licking assholes" once or some weird stuff that he thought was cool or badass. Did NOT come across like that at all. There's a lot of political agreements between the countries involved that allow Americans to sue Australians and vice versa. Otherwise, taken to its logical conclusion, the UFC could also just say no to Hunt if he won. So no, unfortunately Hunt is going to need to pay up.
Difference is the UFC is an American company with almost all of it's assets in the USA. And they used the American court. There's a lot of political agreements between the countries involved that allow Americans to sue Australians and vice versa. The UFC has assets and is headquartered in America. A court order from US District of Nevada has the force of law upon them.
That isn't the same as enforcing a US judgement over an Australian citizen who doesn't have assets or nexus in America. Whole different ball of wax. That is to say, it would be much easier to enforce a judgement against the UFC than it is to to enforce a judgement against Mark in Australia.
It appears the US and Australia do not have a bilateral agreement for enforcement of each others judgements. It looks like a complicated process and will cost additional local lawyer fees to take a run at it. It appears the UFC would fail at meeting the very first criteria outlined in that 'it must be final and conclusive.'
