News Mark Hunt ordered to pay nearly 400k in UFC's legal costs lol

Did his lawyers not take the time and review his contract? Its not exactly a secret the UFC has airtight contracts.
A you can’t sue me contract should be weighed and dismissed if in bad faith. Brock was on the juice, clearly the UFC tried to hide. That should be criminal, livelihoods are at stake.

Anything derogatory coming from you must mean I'm doing something right.

It's a new year, try not to be so salty.

He doesn't live in the USA, what is his obligation if he doesn't have assets or banks accounts in the states?

Has he made a post yet talking shit? It's gonna get nastier for sure. He should have that money though right?

A bad agreement is always better that a lawsuit. Big fan of Hunt, dont think he has been properly advised on this matter.

Because it's in his contract that if you sue the UFC and fail you pay their costs. Hunt isn't bright and his lawyers are apparently even dumber

That’s nothing to do with the UFC contract, you dipshit. You’re not very bright, the things you post are even dumber.

You can enforce US or any country rulings in third countries. Maybe moving to Russia, Venezuela is the right move for Hunt at this point.

I'd like to ask if the Brock-haters are also 100% Anderson Silva haters too? I'm guessing the full excuse book gets opened for one but not the other? I know the wrath I'm incurring by asking that question btw.

dont really take pleasure in his suffering even if he's been annoying as shit since he left. But this is what you signed up for suing them.

If his lawyers gave a shit about him they would of advised him from the start not to proceed as this was a no win case, clearly not.

Dang 400k is a lot, hopefully Hunt has some bread saved up. Would be sad to hear he's broke, considering how many fights he has had

No.. but the UFC would test fighters coming out of retirement. However the elected to waive this protocol for Lesnar's return fight.. why would they do that? It would indicate that they knew he would test positive.
When corporations do exemptions like that they know how to protect themselves legally. Mark should have refused the fight but now it is too late. And he had fought numerous PED abusers in the UFC before Lesnar.

I think they probably did tell him he had no case but I get the vibes he wanted to pursue it anyway.

Happy New Year, Mark Hunt!

And even if it wasn't the case it was still stupid. He competed his entire career in orgs that didn't test for PEDs and in at least one case SPECIFIED THAT IN THE CONTRACT. There is no way most of his fights weren't against guys who benefited from PEDs. He even said in a pre-fight interview that Brock was probably juicing. He knew exactly what he was getting into and was well paid for it.

The only reason it's different this time is the UFC has a robust testing program but they are still corrupt. He thought he could shake them down for it.

Most "legit" lawyers will not take a case if they don't think they have a chance to win it. He likely has guys working on contingency, meaning they don't get paid if he doesn't get paid. The problem is that he will have to pay the UFC's legal costs for every suit that he loses.
