Retired Rugby League player Paul Gallen has defeated Mark Hunt by unanimous decision.
The judges scored the fight 58-56 Gallen, 58-56 Gallen, 59-55 Gallen.

For your information, Rugby League is the same sport current and former UFC Champions Volkanovski and Whittaker played at a decent level. Mark Hunt also grew up playing the sport in New Zealand at a high level. I know theres a lot of talk about which sports translates best to MMA. I personally believe Rugby League is right up there, definitely top 3.

Fedor, Anderson Silva, and GSP played chess back in the day. Think about it.

Paul Gallen also called out Rob Whittaker as his next opponent. ...

Mark Hunt just got beaten by a boxer with a 9-0-1 record

But you can always use titles like

Ngannou got beaten by a firefighter
McGregor got beaten by a skinny weed smoker
Perry got beaten by a model
Jones got beaten by a construction worker

I think about 6 of them are Rugby League players, and 1 is a retired AFL player who took Gallen to a draw in his only pro boxing fight

Just watched it, Mark won... the other dude was rocked several times but did some work with the jab and in the clinch (but most of his inside shots glanced of Mark's shoulders).

1,2,4 and 6 for Hunt, seriously, the other guy hit him 3, MAX 4 times with good punches, while Hunt hurt him in 4 rounds.... Not sure if Mark lost the decision because of:
1. Favoritism (looked to me the crowd was on Gallons side)
2. Hunt looking tired in the last two rounds
3. People expecting Hunt to knock him out
4. Or boxing judging criteria sucks....

Or a mixture of all the above

Shady too, the winner was announced after only two cards were read wtf
