It's not a matter of disagreeing with AOC - There is no scientific consensus the world is going to end in January of 2031. Telling the incredibly wide audience she has, a large portion of which are probably not informed and well-read, that the WORLD IS GOING TO END IN 12 YEARS is incredibly irresponsible. I think he was just trying to say something that would piss her off, that she would react to and make it viral. She reacted, he's viral, mission accomplished. I dont see what he did as principled protest, just clout chasing horseshit.

It's a shame that attention whoring is rewarded behavior. From the look at me nature of social media to mass shooters seeking notoriety, the thirst for notoriety is such an odd thing.
