Mario Yamasaki's Off Night

Anybody notice his bizarre officiating at the end of two of these fights? Firstly, he half-ass gets in the way of Garbrandt's finish. Yeah, Garbrandt was celebrating before Yamasaki called an end, but he got in the way of it as if he was going to stop it, then he just stood there, forcing Garbrandt to throw more unnecessary punches. Then Cerrone gets the triangle on Oliveira, and Cerrone has to tell him mid-submission "Hey, he's tapping, you fuck".

He literally stood in-between Garbrant and Mendes. He basically ran in when Garbrant acting like the fight should be over and then saw the guy was fine but now Garbrant had to go around him. Because he delayed that by being out of position he pretty much has to call it. Then his very next fight he's out of position again on the stoppage. Not much excuse for it.

Most Guys have double their pay riding on their win bonus. Sometimes even their job on the line. And their safety at play. There simply too much at stake for incompetent reffing.
