Ok so this happened yesterday, "March for Australia" protests in every capital city, with counter protests from the left side as well. The issue is that prominent neo-Nazis were speaking at the rallies as invited guests, we do have Nazi groups here but in general they're small. There were a lot more people at the protests yesterday, I'm hoping they were misled as to the intention of the protests, which seemed to me to be a recruitment drive for the National Socialist Network, those neo-Nazi darlings.

We are multicultural and the vast majority accept immigrants. We actually need them, they mainly do skilled jobs we can't do or shit jobs we don't want to do.

American conservatives like to complain that every country that is objectively better than theirs is too woke and too pro immigrant.

I think it's a coping mechanism. They've been told their country is the best in the world their whole life and reality is in direct conflict to who they think they are.

Plus from what I've seen if you're a qualified tradesperson, at least from the UK you need to do your apprenticeship again, this is 4 years of cheap labour for the employer and usually the UK guys I've seen (electricians) are really good.

They must with tech degrees, not sure about other types but heaps of the tech jobs are held by migrants, not enough good engineers here.
