guys, wtf is going on here. and why are dudes acting like beating up a woman makes them tough? lmao.

i think the biggest problem here is everyone's got a different idea of what your "average man" is. i know this because i fell into this trap. my idea of an average man before i recognized my folly was WAY above average. i thought an average male was 6'1 and 240lbs. in reality the average male is 5'8 and 190lbs and shaped like a pear. it's just the environment i lived in heavily skewed my point of view.

tl/dr: don't get it fucked up guys, your average man is a complete bum who Manon Fiorot would beat up. anyone who would beat HER up, is indeed, not your average man.

I dont know what that means. But the average person isn't 6 foot and 200 pounds of muscle. Even if I was from "manletland", that would still mean the 13 year olds are manlets too.

I did go to school though, and do remember that there were students that could take on the teachers.

Alright, I'm actually 5'11" and 198 lbs and need to go on a diet. Happy? Why do so many people act like 6 feet tall means you're a giant. It's fucking average.

The average normal height for an adult male is between 5'10" and 6'2", average weight between 175-220. So are you saying someone who is like 6'1" and 190 lbs is some kind of fatass or freak of nature?

You sound like you're a 5'6" bantamweight and pissed off at anyone taller than 5'9" for some bizarre reason.

6 feet literally isn't average, and it's really easy to see that. No, it doesnt mean you're a giant, but the fact that people think it is average shows how little critical thinking there is. People just say they're 6 ft because its a clean number. People from 5'8-5'11 all claim to be 6 foot...so yeah, 6 foot is on the taller side.

Someone who is 6'1 and 190 isn't some fat ass is bigger than most people. That's really obvious...I cant believe that actually has to be said.

Citing that Yoel Romero is shorter than 6 foot proves my point...Yoel Romero is bigger than the average person. He is short for a "middleweight" (there is nothing middling about 185 pound fighters, they are all large people). The average person can't fight at 185 in the UFC or even close to it.

The average American is obviously above average the global height, how the hell would extending to the entire world help your point? The overwhelming majority of people live in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. According to you, aren't those "manlet" places?

East Asia and South Asia alone has an average height of like 5'5 and is half the world's population. The average male globally is about the size of a UFC bantamweight...which is why globally 135 is the deepest division by far.

It's just baffling to me how upset people here get if someone claims to be around 6', like they must lying about being average. Now I see how to that stupid joke got so popular around here ("all Sherdoggers are at least 6'5" 250 lbs shredded 0% body fat lol" or whatever), it just reeks of insecurity. I actually got my weight down to under 175 a couple of years ago but gained it all back. Was I still too fat at 175?

I don't know why you keep bringing up Yoel of all people, I've seen him billed as 5'10, 5'11 and 6' on various tales of the tape. Yoel Romero is bigger than the average person because he's freakishly jacked with massive shoulders. He has the width of someone taller. Max Holloway is probably taller than him.

And if we're both the same size does that mean we are bigger than average? Is that what this is all about? You don't like hearing someone who is the same size call it "average" because you consider yourself larger than normal? Every time I go out in public, which is every day, most of the adult men I see are around the height (give or take an inch or two) and around the same weight (give or take 10-20 lbs). I haven't seen any giant 13 year olds lately, but I haven't been hanging around the middle schools since I left the 8th grade some 20 or so years ago. Most of the really obese people I see are also pretty old, an it's not as common as some of you claim.

That's only because Asia is way more populated than Europe. Not all Asian dudes are midgets, but so many of them are so much much shorter than average that they're fucking up the numbers. Same with Mexicans. I forgot why we're even arguing about this. You're posting stats with exact median numbers, while I'm posting a range of numbers.
