This is a long video, but worth the watch.

Cliffs:
Couple stops on side of road to switch drivers
Small town cops stop to check things out and perform illegal search
Dude knows the law, and politely calls them out on it
Cops catch attitude and issue bogus citations
Dude fights it in court, and owns the prosecutor so bad he is let go

When a cop stops you he can do whatever he wants illegal or not. Luckily we have a court system where you may find justice, but for those moments you are stopped the cop is in full control of your life and can do whatever he pleases. Even if he knows the charge wont hold up he can still make your life harder with a false arrest.

Can't believe I actually watched all of it . . . :)

And if that cops messes with the wrong guy, that guy can make life very very hard for him. If he does this to a person with money and means, he can be in deep shit.

If you're just another lemming you should shut up and endure. Expect a body cavity search if you're at the wrong place at the wrong time.

This is the nature of law. A nice philosophy that appeals to ordinary men but in reality is a club of internal agreeing.

You can only win if you make them trip over themselves publicly.

The nature of law has a higher priority to keep the king in his castle then to protect and serve. Those two clash with each other all the time and that fight is over before it begun.

That was pretty good. and all the responses even the prosecutors is whats wrong with our fucked up society. When a servant of the people that gets paid by the people has so much power that he can abuse it is ridiculous.

Where I likely would have gotten in trouble is when the Alpha cop started in with the "Do you understand me!?" bullshit. That always strikes a nerve.

Good to see small town thugs exposed in public.

I live in a small Southern town and this is the norm here. Intimidation, bully tactics and a reliance on the fact that most citizens don't understand their rights.

What is going on with this thug culture?

The guy comes across as a complete tool too. The buffoon appeared to believe that he was engaging in some sort of masterful defense strategy by 'refusing to watch the video with the prosecutor'. What an idiot.

Same, lol... although I expected more of a satisfying ending where the officers got verbally reprimanded in court or something.

Lawshuit?

I thought his explanation of wanting to watch the video first was very clear.

Not sure why you are calling him an idiot. He won and was cleared of the bogus citations.

It's such a piss-off how affronted these guys in positions of authority become when a citizen flexes their legal muscles. The prosecutor basically tells this guy that he better be obedient or he might get raped.

Couple policemen with ego issues can't handle it when someone knows their rights.

I can't believe how often officers of the law do everything in their power to violate the rights of civilians. It's so absolutely fucking backwards it's ridiculous...

It's always, "Well I don't know if you're dangerous, maybe you're a killer. I have to do this for officer safety." Yeah, we don't know if you're a criminal either, officer. Maybe you guys murdered two cops and stole their uniforms and scout car! The unreasonable suspicion is an excuse to bend the rules.

The toughest part about it is that sometimes this behaviour leads to good arrests. The officers will find somebody with drugs and illegal guns and take that person off the street. Then the defence argues the search was illegal, the real criminal gets off, and I'm sitting here angry at the defence instead of the prosecution.
