it was the first ufc vs tape I ever seen back in 1998. I miss the whole stars at the beginning where it says
Tae Kwon Do vs Trapfighting

or fuckin Karate vs Krav Maga or whatever

or Kung Fu vs Boxing

or Jeet Jun Do vs Muay Thai

or Seagal Fighting Systems vs Street Fighting

everyone is the same now, hardly any disciplines that make it fun to watch, there's a few I guess like Machida, Wonder Boy, Rousey and fuckinnnn Maldonado

well anyway thought I'd share

Speaking of Oleg...I like the guy but his fight against Macias on that card was believed to be a work. They had the same manager and Macias immediately gave him his neck. Look at Oleg's expression right after the fight.

UFC 6 was awesome, I used to have that on old VHS. Tanks KO of Matua was brutal, thought he had died. Varelans vs Worsham was hilarious, just wild swinging and then the elbow KO. Tank would have won that event if the Oleg vs Macias fight was real, but it was fixed that fight, 100% work.

The fix was probably in on that fight, but I don't think Oleg was in on the fix. The idea being that Oleg had the greatest chance of winning the tournament opposite Tank, but he'd need to not be too beat up and tired going into the finals. It worked.

Yeah. Sorry I should have been more clear. I think Oleg didn't know until after it happened. Look at the way he looked at Macias. It seemed like he just figured out what had happened and gave him a "why did you do that" look. It was really blatant.

We can't know for sure whether Oleg knew or not but I always gave him the benefit of the doubt and he most likely did not know until afterwards. There is a moment that really looks like he figured it out.

Definitely a work on Oleg/Macias and neither one of them like it. You could tell Oleg was pissed when he realized it and Macias was pissed about being forced to throw the fight by their manager.
