Seeing Thiago Alves knee ko by a prospect and beat fight after fight by fighters he would of killed 8 years ago is crazy. Who would of thought when Alves flying knee Matt Hughes that he would be a skinny WW knee kod by a prospect. Does anyone remember this Thiago Alves and whats your thoughts on his transformation ?

Most fighters decline after 9 or 10 years but Thiago is currently working on his 18th year in the game!

He has almost 40 fights. All fighters slow down well before that mileage.

I heard a story back around 2005 when Thiago went to Sea World with his family.

He was sitting with his family minding his own business enjoying the dolphin show. When low and behold a dolphin jumped about twenty feet up in the air to grab a fish out of the trainer's hand!

When the dolphin landed it splashed Thiago right in the face! Well, Thiago was pissed.

The next time the dolphin jumped Thiago hit it with a flying knee, the dolphin landed right in Thiago seat. Then Thiago splashed the dolphin in the face and said: "Porra Camacho!" which I think translates to: "there, how do you like it?!"
