I don't think that. I think that bathrooms should not be open to everyone, but this particular case has nothing to do with TGs.

Restricting access means you can report suspicious activity or people, before they are able to commit a crime.
In the past, if I noticed a man entering or leaving a women's restroom, or a woman saw a mans shoes under a stall, or a man hanging out in the restroom, it could be reported, and the person removed. Now, we are expected to pretend we don't notice, and he is free to lay in ambush, or hide a camera somewhere.


The sign that says "no entry" that leads to the back of the pharmacy doesn't keep people from robbing the store. But if you start letting anyone walk around behind the counter at the pharmacy, don't be surprised when shoplifting of drugs skyrockets.

That is just silly. So you think parents see a suspicious person and since they can't report it, they just say "go ahead in there alone."? No, that just doesnt happen. If a parent was suspicious of a person previously, they have no reason to be less suspicious simply because they person has a right to be there.

I disagree on one point. I said to another poster about the Targets of the world allowing any man into their restroom. It emboldens the crazy perverts and creeps out there to walk on into the girls room. That is what this new trans bathroom push does. And you will see it skyrocket this year. It is happening now.

The thing is...there was nothing stopping them before. Target has simply clarified their position. If you truly think that will "embolden the crazy perverts and creeps out there to walk on into the girls room" then you're out of touch with reality.

Because a grown man in a girls bathroom is not necessarily a threat to anyone. And you shouldn't send little girls into bathrooms alone, regardless of the sex of the grown adults in there.

It could, but the majority of people in the world are heterosexual, so the majority of sex crimes will be between people of opposite sexes.

I think people are getting wrapped up in the politics of it all. They're forgetting that these bathrooms are there for people to deposit human waste into. If you go in to do anything other than that...you're still wrong, regardless of gender/identity.
